Welcome to the Feline Conservation Trust website.
Many species of wild cats are threatened with some subspecies being critically endangered. They are struggling to survive, often in very harsh and testing environments, with mans activities such as hunting and land clearing pushing them to the brink of extinction.
Some isolated populations face the very real threat of extinction in the wild, very soon.
Protected areas are necessary for the conservation of the worlds cat species. The rate of habitat loss and fragmentation continue to upset the fragile balance of their survival in the wild.

Our hope is that with increased awareness of the problems the wild Felines face in their natural environments along with the realisation of the need to do something now rather than later, the most specialised predators the world has ever seen can be saved.
